Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026 ยท Companion to our Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies KaagazPDF uses, why we use them, who else sets cookies on our pages, and โ€” importantly โ€” how you can turn any of them off. We keep this list short and always up to date. If we ever add a new cookie, this page is updated first.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device (phone, laptop or tablet) when you visit. Cookies do things like remember that you are logged in, count how many people opened a page, or help an advertising network avoid showing you the same ad five times in a row. Cookies do not read the file you are compressing or converting on our page โ€” they cannot, because your file never leaves your browser's memory. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, IndexedDB) work the same way at a technical level and are covered by this policy.

2. The three categories of cookies we use

a) Strictly necessary

These are required for KaagazPDF to function. Without them, you cannot stay logged in, cannot buy Pro, and cannot record that you have accepted our privacy notice. There is no consent choice for these because the site is unusable without them.

b) Analytics

These help us understand which tools are popular and which pages break. Everything is aggregated and anonymised โ€” we never see which individual clicked what. You can opt out at any time from your browser's Do Not Track setting or by setting the cookie knz_analytics=off.

c) Advertising (Free plan only)

Ads on the Free plan are served by Google AdSense. Google may set cookies to (i) limit how often you see the same ad, (ii) show more relevant ads (only where you have consented and the law permits), and (iii) measure whether an ad worked. If you subscribe to Pro, we stop serving Google AdSense entirely, and these cookies are no longer set for you.

3. Full list of cookies

Below is the current, complete list of cookies set on kaagazpdf.in. First-party means set by us; third-party means set by another company on our page.

If we ever add a new cookie we will update this table before we start setting it.

4. How to manage cookies

You are always in control. In addition to the choices below, remember that your files never leave your browser, so no cookie can "leak" a document you process on KaagazPDF.

a) At KaagazPDF

b) In your browser

Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies from a specific site. The short version:

You can also enable your browser's built-in "Do Not Track" setting; we treat it as an opt-out signal for analytics.

c) For Google ads specifically

Google offers a global control panel at myadcenter.google.com where you can turn off ad personalisation for every website that uses Google Ads, including KaagazPDF. You can also opt out of some measurement cookies at adssettings.google.com and aboutads.info.

5. What happens if you block cookies

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break login, prevent Pro checkout, and cause KaagazPDF to show you the privacy notice every visit. Blocking analytics cookies has no user-visible effect. Blocking advertising cookies is completely fine โ€” you will still see ads on the Free plan, they will just be non-personalised, and Google may show the same one more often.

6. Consent

When you first visit KaagazPDF we show a short banner asking for your consent. "Accept" enables analytics and advertising cookies. "Reject non-essential" allows only the strictly-necessary ones. You can change your choice at any time from Settings โ†’ Privacy on your dashboard, or by clearing our cookies in your browser (see section 4b) which will make the banner appear again.

7. Children

We do not knowingly serve targeted advertising to users under the age of 13. Google AdSense follows its own protections for younger audiences. If you believe a targeted ad has been served to a child on KaagazPDF, please tell us at [email protected] so we can investigate and report it.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. For significant changes we will show a small notice at the top of the site for at least 14 days.

9. Contact

Cookie questions: [email protected]. All the other information about how we handle your data is in our Privacy Policy.

Short version: we set a handful of cookies to keep you logged in and to run ads on the Free plan. Everything is listed above. You can turn off analytics and advertising in one click.
